Michelle Moeller, M.F.A | Artistic Director Emeritus & Founder
Michelle Moeller, founder & former Artistic Director of Perpetual Motion Dance for 20 years, currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Dance at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her performance and choreography have been part of numerous concerts and festivals, including the Houston Fringe Festival, ROGUE in Fresno, CA, Tulsa SummerStage, Live at the Crossroads in Kansas City and the New Genre Festival in Tulsa. As a freelance choreographer, Ms. Moeller’s unique aesthetic sensibilities have been sought after for commissioned works by Oklahoma City Ballet for their Future Voices project, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, and Muscle Memory Dance Theater. Ms. Moeller's education includes receiving a BA in Dance Education at the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance at Texas Woman’s University where she was awarded the Excellence in Choreography scholarship. As Director of Perpetual Motion Dance, Michelle produced 19 original concerts most recently “REWIND”, "əˈstrā", "Cora's Door", and "Quinze". She has participated in several public school residencies and after school programs and served as a coordinator and teaching artist for the “Dancewise” project, a dance education program for the Putnam City School District in Oklahoma City. In 2013, she was recognized as one of Oklahoma’s “40 Under 40” by Oklahoma Magazine for her contributions to the arts landscape of Oklahoma. Ms. Moeller is continually striving to fulfill the Perpetual Motion Dance mission of creating a collaborative network of artists to establish and sustain a unique multidisciplinary arts performance and education program for the community.
Amy Nevius, B.F.A. | Artistic Director, Founder, Modern & Aerial Instructor, Choreographer
Amy Nevius is a versatile and innovative teacher, dancer, and choreographer. Since 2001, she has brought arts education in the form of dance and creative movement to a wide range of populations throughout the state of Oklahoma through artist-in-residence programs, master classes, workshops, arts camps, staff development sessions, seminars, adjudications, and guest choreographer positions. Believing that individuals learn best through the application of the arts in various formats, Amy also finds great joy in working collaboratively with artists of other mediums, to bring multi-faceted arts curriculum to participants of all ages and abilities. In addition to her work as a teaching artist, she is also currently an adjunct faculty member teaching dance technique at the University of Central Oklahoma and at Rose State College. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Central Oklahoma and performed on scholarship with the Kaleidoscope Dancers company during her four years there. She is a recipient of the State Superintendent’s Award for Arts Excellence, and her performance and choreography have been a part of numerous concerts, festivals, theatre productions and arts-centered events throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico and California. As a founding member of Oklahoma’s own, Perpetual Motion Dance, Amy enjoys expressing her love of dance by performing challenging choreography both in modern and aerial dance.
Kayla J. Jenkins, B.F.A | Executive Director, Modern & Aerial Instructor, Choreographer, Hair & MU Artist
Kayla J. Jenkins began her professional career as a choreographer in 2007 upon receiving her B.F.A from the University of Central Oklahoma. Kayla's performance credits and choreography have been represented from coast to coast including the American College Dance Festival, Pilot Dance Festival with Muscle Memory Dance Theatre & Houston Fringe Festival (TX), Works in Progress (NYC), Arkansas Festival Ballet, Artist in Resonance, and The Studio Theatre (AR), Fresno Fringe Festival (CA), Meow Wolf (NM), Factory Obscura, The Exchange, Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival, PM2 & Perpetual Motion Dance (OK) touring and repertory work. Kayla has extensive teaching credentials and currently volunteers as a member of the Capitol Hill Academy of Arts Advisory Board. In addition to serving as the Executive Director for Perpetual Motion Dance, Kayla is a featured senior choreographer, former performing company modern dancer and aerialist, and instructor specializing in Lyra. In 2023, Kayla was selected as an Artist Inc Fellow through the Mid America Arts Alliance, led a panel discussion over The Big Voices Project and grant funding at the Oklahoma Arts Conference, and began the Oklahoma Choreographers Coalition. In October of 2025, Kayla will be recognized by the Oklahoma Arts Council as a graduate of the Leadership Arts Class XIII. Certified both in Arkansas and Oklahoma, Kayla is also a KEVIN.MURPHY Gold Key Style educator, Session Salon Stylist and Owner of Shear Balance Salon (OKC) & (Little Rock), creating and designing hair & makeup for the past 18 years.
Caitlin Robinson, CPA | Finance Director & Treasurer, Aerial Instructor, Choreographer
Caitlin Robinson began performing modern dance professionally while pursuing her Master in Professional Accounting degree at the University of Texas. She was a founding member of Borealis Dance and her performance with the company at Austin's FronteraFest was chosen as "Best of the Fest." After moving to Oklahoma City, Caitlin joined Perpetual Motion Dance where she added aerial dance to her repertoire. Caitlin has also trained extensively in rhythm tap, learning from world renowned tap dancers at Tapestry Dance Company, Soul 2 Sole, and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Caitlin is currently an aerial instructor and choreographer creating innovative dance with Perpetual Motion Dance as well as serving as the Finance Director and Board Treasurer.
Susan Kedy, President
Susan Kedy enjoyed a very long career in financial services, banking & technology. During her career, she found it most rewarding when she was helping her clients, coworkers and others think outside the box for creative solutions and succeed in their accomplishments. Upon retirement, Susan sought out opportunities to use her knowledge and skills in a manner that would give back to the community. Through a civic matchmaking program, Give 5, she is now volunteering at several non-profit organizations in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. She has always been a supporter and lover of the arts and after learning more about the mission of Perpetual Motion Dance, she became an avid supporter and is delighted to have joined the board of directors in 2023. She looks forward to the opportunity of utilizing her unique set of experiences to contribute to the future of Perpetual Motion Dance.
Brandon Burris, Vice President
Brandon Burris is a professor of legal studies and director of the paralegal studies program at Rose State College, where he has received the Excellence in Teaching Award. He received his doctorate in law with highest honors from the University of Tulsa and is a licensed attorney since 2007. Brandon enjoys dancing, poorly but with gusto, in any form he can: aerial arts (including split silks, hammock, lyra, and flying trapeze), ballet, bachata, country/western, English country dancing, jazz, swing, tap, and others. Brandon is a lifelong student who loves to learn from Perpetual Motion and is excited to support their mission.
Jane Murray
Jane Murray is a recruiter for a local law firm and brings over 20 years of nonprofit experience to the Perpetual Motion board. With a Master’s Degree in Human Services, Jane has an innate curiosity about people and is passionate about helping them understand their potential and how to harness their strengths. An avid supporter of the dance community, Jane has volunteered at Perpetual Motion performances for the past 5 years and has seen the impact their programs have on the audience, and is excited to become a member of the board and support their mission.
