Michelle Moeller is the founder & Artistic Director of Perpetual Motion Dance and Chair of the Department of Dance at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her performance and choreography have been part of numerous concerts and festivals, including the Houston Fringe Festival, ROGUE in Fresno, CA, Tulsa SummerStage, Live at the Crossroads in Kansas City and the New Genre Festival in Tulsa. As a freelance choreographer, Ms. Moeller’s unique aesthetic sensibilities have been sought after for commissioned works by Oklahoma City Ballet for their Future Voices project, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, and Muscle Memory Dance Theater. Ms. Moeller's education includes receiving a BA in Dance Education at the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance at Texas Woman’s University where she was awarded the Excellence in Choreography scholarship. As Director of Perpetual Motion Dance, Michelle has produced 18 original concerts most recently "əˈstrā", "Cora's Door", and "Quinze". She has participated in several public school residencies and after school programs and served as a coordinator and teaching artist for the “Dancewise” project, a dance education program for the Putnam City School District in Oklahoma City. In 2013, she was recognized as one of Oklahoma’s “40 Under 40” by Oklahoma Magazine for her contributions to the arts landscape of Oklahoma. Ms. Moeller is continually striving to fulfill the Perpetual Motion mission of creating a collaborative network of artists to establish and sustain a unique multidisciplinary arts performance and education program for the community.

Amy Nevius is a versatile and innovative teacher, dancer, and choreographer. Since 2001, she has brought arts education in the form of dance and creative movement to a wide range of populations throughout the state of Oklahoma through artist-in-residence programs, master classes, workshops, arts camps, staff development sessions, seminars, adjudications, and guest choreographer positions. Believing that individuals learn best through the application of the arts in various formats, Amy also finds great joy in working collaboratively with artists of other mediums, to bring multi-faceted arts curriculum to participants of all ages and abilities. In addition to her work as a teaching artist, she is also currently an adjunct faculty member teaching dance technique at the University of Central Oklahoma and at Rose State College. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Central Oklahoma and performed on scholarship with the Kaleidoscope Dancers company during her four years there. She is a recipient of the State Superintendent’s Award for Arts Excellence, and her performance and choreography have been a part of numerous concerts, festivals, theatre productions and arts-centered events throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico and California. As a founding member of Oklahoma’s own, Perpetual Motion Dance, Amy enjoys expressing her love of dance by performing challenging choreography both in modern and aerial dance.

Kayla Jenkins began her professioal career as a choreographer in 2007 upon receiving her B.F.A from the University of Central Oklahoma. Kayla's performance credits and choreography have been represented from coast to coast including the American College Dance Festival, Pilot Dance Festival with Muscle Memory Dance Theatre & Houston Fringe Festival (TX), Works in Progress (NYC), Arkansas Festival Ballet and Artist in Resonance (AR), Fresno Fringe Festival (CA), Meow Wolf (NM), The Exchange, Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival, PM2 & Perpetual Motion Dance (OK) touring and repertory work. Kayla has extensive teaching credentials and currently serves as the Perpetual Motion Dance Company Manager & Business Director, featured choreographer, performer, aerialist, & instructor specializing in lyra. Certified both in Arkansas and Oklahoma, Kayla is a KEVIN.MURPHY session stylist and owner of Shear Balance Salon (OKC) & (LR), creating and designing hair & makeup specifically for dance productions.

Maria Krey Gibson is a passionate educator devoted to inspiring creative expression from all of her students. Maria has a B. A. in dance education and an M.ed from UCO. Maria taught in the Oklahoma City Public School District from 2011- 2019. She pioneered the dance program at Douglass Mid-High School, where she was Teacher of the Year. Maria received her 200 RYT certification from Soul Yoga in 2019. Currently, she is building a new dance program at Putnam City High School. Maria joined Perpetual Motion Dance in 2011 and after a short time off pursuing her education degrees, she is excited to be a contributor to Perpetual Motion’s vision.

A L A N A M U R R A Y
Alana Murray is an engaging performer, energetic teacher, and excitable choreographer with a love of comedic expression. Her diverse education comes from Germany, Canada, London, and across the US. As a Perpetual Motion Dance member, Alana lends a variety of talents as a performer, instructor, choreographer, and qualified rigger. Alana began coordinating the Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival in 2014, where her skills converge each summer to bring opportunities to community members to train under the umbrella of PMD free of charge. While dancing with PMD, she has enjoyed working with immersive art collectives Factory Obscura and MeowWolf as well as touring throughout AR, KS, MO, NM, OK, and TX. Alana is currently a Factory Obscura art collective member as well as a dance dance educator at the University of Central Oklahoma. In 2017, Alana helped establish the first collegiate aerial dance program in the state of Oklahoma at UCO, educating and motivating all students to fly.

Caitlin Robinson began performing modern dance professionally while pursuing her Master in Professional Accounting degree at the University of Texas. She was a founding member of Borealis Dance and her performance with the company at Austin's FronteraFest was chosen as "Best of the Fest." After moving to Oklahoma City, Caitlin joined Perpetual Motion Dance where she added aerial dance to her repertoire. Caitlin has also trained extensively in rhythm tap, learning from world renowned tap dancers at Tapestry Dance Company, Soul 2 Sole, and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Caitlin is currently an aerial instructor and choreographer creating innovative dance with Perpetual Motion Dance.

E M M A T O R R E S
Emma Torres was honored to perform her first year as "Cora" in the 2018 Spring Concert titled Cora's Door. She is a sought after dance teacher and flow artist in the OKC metro area. Emma received her BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2017. Since graduating, Emma has toured nationally as hoop dancer, completed two residencies at Meow Wolf’s House of Eternal Return, and performed in the World Dance Alliance Global Summit Gala, among other performance opportunities. Emma is incredibly thankful to continue her professional career with Perpetual Motion Dance and excited to continue bringing innovative art to the OKC community and beyond.

Mari Rada, company member since 2018, joined after participating for years in the Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival hosted by Perpetual Motion Dance. Her dance background is built from over ten years of competitive performances in styles ranging from jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, musical theater, and contemporary. While earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at the University of Oklahoma, Mari taught various dance styles to students of all ages at Julia’s Academy of International Dance in Norman. In addition to performing, Mari lends her talents as a graphic designer.

Melanie Lambert received her B.F.A. in Dance Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma. During her time there, she was a member of the Kaleidoscope Dance Company; where she worked with guest artists such as Noa Shiloh, Diavolo, Mike Esperanza, and James Gregg. Through Kaleidoscope, she also participated in the American College Dance Association in 2018. Melanie is also a dance teacher at Putnam City North High School, where she is in charge of the North Dance Company as well as the Pom Squad. Melanie is thrilled to continue her professional career with Perpetual Motion Dance.

Katelyn Prewitt studied dance at the University of Central Oklahoma where she was also a member of the Kaleidoscope Dance Company for four years. During her time at UCO, she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Leah Cox, Mike Esperanza, Jeremy Duvall and Noa Shiloh. Katelyn’s performance credits include the American College Dance Association’s Gala concert in addition to tours in Paris, New York and Seoul. Katelyn joined Perpetual Motion Dance in 2019, bringing not only her joy for dance but also her talents as a makeup artist using those skills behind the scenes for show productions.

Linda Pope graduated with her B.A. in Arts Administration, with an emphasis in Dance Performance, from the University of Central Oklahoma in December of 2018. Upon graduation, she received the Outstanding B.A. of Arts Administration Award from the Department of Dance Faculty. During her time there she participated in NDEO, ACDA, KD, KD2, Spectrum, and her choreography and research were chosen for presentation at the National Convention of Undergraduate Research. Apart from performing, she is a dance teacher at Mary Golda Ross Middle School. Linda was delighted to join Perpetual Motion Dance in 2019.

Stormi Luney graduated with her B.A in Dance Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in May of 2019. Upon her Spring 2019 graduation, she received the Outstanding pk-12 Undergraduate Education Major Award from the College of Educational and Professional Studies, as well as the Dean’s Recognition Award in Dance from the College of Fine Arts and Design. She was a member of UCO’s touring dance company, Kaleidoscope. Within her time in the company she worked with artist such as DIAVOLO, Jeremy Duvall, Mike Esperanza and many more and performed in New York, Tennessee, and Illinois to name a few. Stormi has participated in professional development conferences such as the National Dance Education Organization Conference in 2017, and the National Conference of Undergraduate Research as a co-presenter/performer in 2017 & 2018. A certified dance educator, Stormi is a dance educator within the Academy of Fine Arts at Capitol Hill High School.
